John J. Siebert, CPA, MBA

John J. Siebert is a Certified Public Accountant who has been providing accounting, business advisory, and tax services to business entities and individuals for over 25 years. As an innovative thinker and solution-oriented professional, John has a unique ability to evaluate the tax, financial and technology needs of your business. He has extensive experience in tax services, auditing, and financial consulting including business planning, business evaluation, and management services.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration and an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems from The University of Dayton.

In addition, John holds a BA in Information Technology from DeVry University that gives him the ability to truly understand the unique needs of hi-tech providers. Matt Jones, CPA

Matt Jones became a partner in January of 2019. He has over 15 years of experience focused on tax accounting, compliance, and planning with individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Prior to joining Siebert & Reynolds, Jones served from 2012 to 2019 as manager of tax accounting and property tax at The Wendy’s Company in Dublin, Ohio. In this capacity he managed Wendy’s financial statement reporting for taxes and property tax compliance efforts, as well as the budgeting, planning, and forecasting for taxes. In particular, he successfully led efforts to implement various tax software programs to streamline monthly and quarterly closing processes.

In 2005, Jones started his professional career in Columbus working as an associate for the "Big 4" public accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP where he worked his way up to tax manager. In this capacity he specialized in tax compliance and consulting for privately held family businesses and closely held corporations of Foreign Multi-Nationals. In 2009, Jones began investing in real estate with the acquisition of his first rental unit. He currently owns and manages over 17 units in the Columbus area specializing in multi-family residential properties.

Jones, a graduate of Ohio State, is a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio, active), Licensed Insurance Agent (Accident & Health, Life) and Investment Advisor (Cetera Investors). He currently lives in New Albany with his wife and 2 sons. In his spare time he enjoys family vacations at the beach and coaching his son’s youth sports teams as well as sponsoring local youth sports leagues.

Jean Pierre, CPA

Jean Pierre, CPA has been with Siebert & Associates for over four years. Jean is our Tax Manager and responsible for reviewing all Corporate and Individual tax returns as well as reviewing Financial Statements, Tax Projections and Benchmark reports. He is the first person to help clients understand their tax situation and answer questions as they arise. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter as well as relaxing with an occasional video game.

Amanda Melillo, CPA

Amanda Melillo is a Certified Public Accountant at Siebert & Associates, CPAs. She brings with her over five years of experience with Auditing and Assurance. She oversees all Audits in the firm as well as preparing Financial Statements, and Tax Returns. Amanda has recently moved to Ohio and is enjoying the change of weather from Arizona’s heat.

Darlene Knight

Darlene Knight is an Enrolled Agent at Siebert & Associates CPAs. Darlene has grown with the firm for over 9 years while earning her Enrolled Agent designation. She prepares and reviews Financial Statements, Tax returns, prepares Tax Projections, and Benchmark reports. She does the “Onboarding” with new clients, so she is one of the first people new clients meet. Outside of work, she loves the process of planning the itineraries for future vacations and going on those trips relaxing with family and friends.

Donna Gieseck, EA

Donna Gieseck, EA is a Senior Tax Accountant with Siebert & Associates working with Matt Jones, CPA. She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Forensic Accounting. She is active member of her Church where she serves as co-treasurer. She enjoys being an active member of both the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the Ohio State Society of Enrolled Agents (OSSEA), where she proudly serves on the board as Director-at-Large, contributing to the advancement of our profession and supporting fellow tax professionals across the state. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.

Cathy Faga

Cathy Faga is a Small Business Specialist at Siebert & Associates CPAs. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and has been with Siebert and Associates for over fifteen years. Over the years as the firm has grown, she has created the internal processes used to review and prepare our Financial Statements, has managed the work flow, and trained our staff to perform excellent work. She has been dubbed the “QuickBooks Queen” and is the “go-to” person to solve some of the most complex accounting and QuickBooks dilemmas. Away from the office, she loves traveling and creating beautiful scrapbooks.

Angie Miller

Angie Miller is a Staff Accountant at Siebert & Associates, CPAs. She comes to us with over 30 years accounting experience and an Associates Degree in Accounting from Ohio University of Lancaster. She prepares Financial Statements, works with our most complex bookkeeping projects, and problem solves State filing issues. Away from work she enjoys going to the Muskingum River and boating.

Arnold Leybovich

Arnold (Arnie) Leybovich is a Staff Accountant at Siebert & Associates, CPAs. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He takes on a lot of projects that require the challenge of getting our client books up to date. He gathers information from clients as needed and prepares Financial Statements. When furniture needs moved in the office, he is the go-to man. Most evenings he can be found working out at the gym. He also enjoys watching OSU Football and Rugby.

Debra Bailey

Debra Bailey is an Administrative Assistant at Siebert & Associates, CPAs. Debra brings over eight years’ experience preparing personal tax returns, 1099’s and bookkeeping. She is also the point person to contact clients who need reminders. Outside of the office, Debra enjoys spending time with her three dogs and three cats.

Samantha Clouse

Samantha Clouse is a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant at Siebert & Associates. She has been with the firm since December 2024 and is currently working towards her associate’s degree in accounting. She provides administrative support to clients as well as bookkeeping and Financial Statement preparation. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Austin, exploring local bookstores, and is an avid Blue Jackets fan.

Hope Siebert

Hope Siebert is the office manager at Siebert & Associates, CPAs. She works with our clients to assist in welcoming them to our firm, enabling communication with their accountant, billing, and delivering Financials and Tax returns. Within the firm Hope handles the needs of staff to problem solve client issues, IT issues, and building maintenance issues. Outside of work, Hope loves making sourdough bread, kombucha, and organic gardening.
